A system that was established by the Spanish Ministry of the Interior, and began operating on July 26, 2007. 
The system is based on a web application built into Networks for Systems (SARA 
Administrations for Networks and Applications). 
The goals of the system are to highlight the connection between the public institutions related to gender violence, the integration of the relevant information, supervision and protection according to the level of risk, the implementation of a personalized security plan that includes self-defense measures and the taking of preventive actions by providing warnings, as well as, alerts through an alert subsystem when a danger to the victim is identified. The collection of information comes from many sources such as: the police, the judicial system, prisons and the Ministry of Health. 
The purpose of all the goals is to create a network of institutions, resources and information that will make it possible to monitor and protect
